Product Description

Manufacturer Part Number:GJ2132

GeminiJets 1/400 scale Volaris Airbus A320neo diecast model is As Real as it Gets and measures approximately 3-11/16-inches long with a 3-1/2-inch wingspan. Manufactured by GeminiJets as a limited edition, highly collectible model, this Volaris Airbus A320neo - Registration XA-VSH - has been meticulously recreated from Airbus' blueprints and features realistic landing gear and detailed graphics, assuring the utmost accuracy and superior quality. A Display Stand is not included and is sold separately - Gemini GJSTD777.

After the success of the Airbus A319, A320 and A321 products, the manufacturer embarked on a new line of enhanced products, now referred to as the A319neo, A320neo and A321neo. The "neo" represents "new engine option." The "neo" versions of these successful Airbus types primarily feature all new engine types and aerodynamic refinements, for improved efficiency. There are two all new engine options. While Pratt & Whitney is offering the PW1000G general turbofan family of products, CFM offers the LEAP-1 engine family. Internal cabin improvements include the use of lighter weight materials along with an improved air cabin purification system. These enhancements will result in fuel burning savings of 15% over the previous Airbus family line along with lower operating costs and less noise.

While the "neo" initially flew on September 24, 2014, with the first A320neo having taken to the skies, Lufthansa became the first "neo" operator on January 25, 2016.
